Description
The Thyroid Comprehensive Panel evaluates thyroid hormone levels along with thyroid-specific antibodies to provide a more complete assessment of thyroid function and potential autoimmune thyroid conditions.
This panel may help identify or monitor conditions such as:
- Hypothyroidism
- Hyperthyroidism
- Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis
- Graves’ Disease
It is ideal for individuals experiencing thyroid-related symptoms, those with autoimmune concerns, or anyone wanting a more in-depth thyroid evaluation beyond basic screening.
What’s Measured
TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone)
Function: Regulates thyroid hormone production. Insight: Elevated levels may indicate an underactive thyroid, while low levels may suggest overactive thyroid function.
Free T4 (Free Thyroxine)
Function: Measures the primary hormone produced by the thyroid gland. Insight: Helps evaluate available thyroid hormone levels circulating in the body.
Free T3 (Free Triiodothyronine)
Function: Measures the active thyroid hormone used by the body’s cells. Insight: Helps assess thyroid hormone activity related to metabolism, energy production, and overall cellular function.
Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPOAb)
Function: Detects antibodies associated with autoimmune thyroid disease. Insight: Elevated levels may be associated with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis or Graves’ disease.
Thyroglobulin Antibodies (TgAb)
Function: Measures antibodies directed against thyroglobulin. Insight: Often elevated in autoimmune thyroid conditions and may support thyroid autoimmunity evaluation.

- Individuals with fatigue, brain fog, hair thinning, weight changes, anxiety, or temperature sensitivity
- Those with a personal or family history of autoimmune disease
- Patients monitoring thyroid conditions or thyroid medication
- Anyone seeking a more complete thyroid function assessment
