Description

The Childhood Allergy Profile with Reflexes is a blood test that measures a child’s IgE antibodies to a panel of common allergens.

If a positive reaction is detected to certain allergens—such as milk, egg, or peanut—the test automatically performs additional component testing. This helps provide a more detailed understanding of the allergy and potential triggers.

Allergens Included in This Panel

  • Fungi & Mold: Alternaria, Cladosporium herbarum
  • Insects & Pets: German cockroach, Cat epithelium, Dog dander
  • Dust Mites: Dermatophagoides farinae, Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus
  • Foods: Cod fish, Shrimp, Soybean, Walnut, Wheat
  • Common Pediatric Allergens with Reflex Testing:
  • Peanut IgE (with reflex to peanut components)
  • Milk IgE (with reflex)
  • Egg white IgE (with reflex)

Fasting: Not required.
