Description
The Men’s Wellness Panel is a foundational blood test designed to provide a broad overview of a man’s overall health. By analyzing key biomarkers, this panel helps assess everything from heart and metabolic health to thyroid function and blood quality.
Whether you're focused on prevention, optimizing energy, or managing existing health conditions, this panel delivers crucial insights that support long-term wellness and vitality.
What’s Included in the Panel?
Complete Blood Count (CBC)
- Purpose: Evaluates red and white blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and platelets.
- Why It’s Important: This test helps detect anemia, infections, immune health, and blood disorders. It provides a general snapshot of your overall health and immune function.
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP)
- Purpose: Assesses blood glucose, electrolytes, kidney function, and liver enzymes.
- Why It’s Important: Offers insight into organ function, hydration, and metabolic health. Abnormal results can signal conditions like diabetes, liver disease, or kidney dysfunction.
Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
- Purpose: Measures TSH levels to evaluate thyroid function.
- Why It’s Important: Imbalanced thyroid function can affect energy, mood, weight, and metabolism. Detects signs of hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism.
Hemoglobin A1C (HgA1c)
- Purpose: Reflects your average blood sugar over the past 2–3 months.
- Why It’s Important: A key marker for diagnosing prediabetes and type 2 diabetes. High levels may indicate insulin resistance, a major factor in weight gain, fatigue, and cardiovascular risk.
Lipid Panel (Cholesterol Panel)
- Purpose: Measures total cholesterol, HDL (good), LDL (bad), and triglycerides.
- Why It’s Important: Critical for assessing heart health. Abnormal levels increase the risk for heart disease, stroke, and arterial plaque buildup.
Fasting Recommended
Please fast for 8–12 hours before testing, especially for glucose and lipid measurements. Water is allowed.
