Description
The Comprehensive Health Exposure (IgE) Panel is a specialized blood test designed to detect immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies produced in response to exposure to non-food allergens. This includes environmental agents, chemicals, plant-based substances, additives, and even parasitic proteins—many of which are commonly found in household items, personal care products, industrial materials, and processed foods.
Purpose of the Test
This panel helps identify whether your immune system is overreacting to everyday exposures that might otherwise go undetected on traditional allergy panels. An abnormal IgE response to these substances can be associated with:
- Chronic inflammation
- Asthma or respiratory symptoms
- Dermatitis and rashes
- Fatigue and headaches
- Gastrointestinal distress
- Chemical sensitivity syndromes
- Autoimmune flare-ups
This panel is especially helpful for individuals with unexplained allergic symptoms or chemical/environmental sensitivities that don't appear on typical food or pollen allergy testing.
Biomarkers Included in This Panel
Biological & Parasitic Allergen
- Anisakis – Parasitic protein from raw/undercooked fish

- React to processed foods, dyes, or additives
- Suspect environmental sensitivities
- Have had negative or inconclusive results on standard allergy panels
Test Notes
- Fasting is not required
- Simple blood draw
- Results typically available within 7–10 days
