Description
The BioTE® Female Pre-Pellet Blood Panel provides the laboratory testing commonly required before beginning BioTE® hormone pellet therapy. This panel evaluates hormone levels, thyroid function, blood counts, metabolic health, and key vitamin levels to provide your BioTE® provider with important baseline information prior to treatment.
Biomarkers Included:
Complete Blood Count (CBC) with Differential: Evaluates red blood cells, white blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and platelets to assess overall blood health.
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP): Evaluates blood glucose, electrolytes, kidney function, liver function, and other important metabolic markers.
Estradiol: Measures the primary form of estrogen and helps assess a woman's hormonal status before hormone therapy.
Testosterone, Total: Measures the total amount of testosterone in the blood and provides a baseline testosterone level prior to pellet therapy.
Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH): Helps evaluate ovarian function and menopausal status.
Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH): Measures the primary hormone responsible for regulating thyroid function.
T4, Total: Measures the total amount of thyroxine (T4) in the blood to help assess thyroid function.
T3, Free: Measures the active, unbound form of T3 available to the body's tissues.
Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) Antibodies: Screens for antibodies associated with autoimmune thyroid conditions.
Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy: Measures vitamin D status, an important nutrient involved in bone, immune, and overall health.
Vitamin B12: Measures vitamin B12 levels, which are important for healthy nerve function and red blood cell production.
This panel is intended for women who need baseline laboratory testing prior to beginning BioTE® hormone pellet therapy.
Preparation: Fasting is not required.
