CA-125, or cancer antigen 125, is a protein found in the blood that can be used to screen for and monitor other cancers: .
- Ovarian cancer: CA-125 is a tumor marker that is often found in high levels in people with ovarian cancer. A CA-125 test can help detect early signs of ovarian cancer in people at high risk. It can also help monitor the effectiveness of treatment and whether the cancer has returned.
