Description
Advanced parasite detection using PCR and microscopy with a convenient two-day collection.
The Parasitology – 2 Day test is a non-invasive stool test designed to identify a wide range of intestinal parasites, protozoa, and helminths (worms). It uses both PCR (polymerase chain reaction) and microscopic evaluation to detect active or hidden infections that may contribute to chronic gastrointestinal symptoms, inflammation, and poor nutrient absorption.
Simplified 2-Day Collection
All parasitology test kits come with materials for a 3-day collection, but for this panel, you only need to provide samples on Day 2 and Day 3. Use the clearly labeled Day 2 and Day 3 bags—no need to collect on Day 1.
This streamlined process makes it easier to collect your samples without compromising on diagnostic accuracy.
Who Should Consider This Test?
You may benefit from the Parasitology – 2 Day test if you experience:
- Chronic or intermittent digestive issues
- Diarrhea, bloating, or abdominal discomfort
- Unexplained fatigue or skin issues
- Nutrient deficiencies or malabsorption
- History of international travel or contaminated water exposure
- Suspected exposure to parasites or intestinal pathogens
- Unexplained weight loss or GI inflammation
- A weakened immune system
