Calcium Blood Test measures the level of Calcium. Calcium is important to sustain normal body functions, including bone strength, heart health, the nervous system and muscle health, and to assess parathyroid conditions and chronic renal disease.

The test measures total Calcium levels which include “Free” (circulating in the blood) and “Bound“ ( attached to to proteins).

Fasting not required.
