Description
One Blood Test. Three Powerful Areas of Personalized Health Information.
Cancer Screening + Genetic Predisposition + Pharmacogenomics
What if one comprehensive testing package could provide insight into cancer-related findings, inherited health risks, and how your body may respond to medications?
The OncoSure® Total Wellness Package brings together three advanced areas of laboratory testing in one comprehensive package—giving you information that can help you better understand your health and have more informed conversations with your healthcare providers.
Know More About Your Health
Look for cancer-related abnormalities. The cancer screening component evaluates blood for laboratory findings associated with abnormal cell division that may warrant further investigation.
Discover inherited health risks. Genetic testing analyzes more than 3,000 inherited genetic mutations associated with cancer and other health conditions.
Learn how your genes may affect medications. Pharmacogenomic testing evaluates genetic differences that may influence how your body metabolizes and responds to certain medications.
Three Advanced Tests in One Package
1. Cancer Screening
The cancer screening component uses a blood sample to evaluate oncosomes, cancer-associated extracellular vesicles identified through specialized laboratory analysis.
The laboratory evaluates chromosomal abnormalities associated with abnormal cell division.
The goal is to identify findings that may indicate the need for additional medical evaluation or diagnostic testing.
An abnormal result does not, by itself, diagnose cancer or determine the specific type or location of a cancer.
2. Genetic Predisposition Testing
Your DNA can reveal health risks you may have inherited long before symptoms appear.
The genetic component analyzes more than 3,000 inherited genetic mutations associated with cancer and other health conditions.
Testing may provide information about genetic susceptibility involving:
- Breast, ovarian, prostate and colorectal cancers
- Other hereditary cancer syndromes
- Cardiovascular disease
- Cholesterol disorders
- Hypertension
- Neurological conditions
- Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease susceptibility
- Epilepsy-related genetic variants
- Autoimmune and inflammatory disorders
- Other inherited health conditions
Knowing about an important inherited genetic variant may help guide discussions about earlier screening, additional testing, prevention strategies, specialist evaluation, and family risk.
Genetic predisposition indicates risk, not certainty that a particular condition will develop.
3. Pharmacogenomics (PGx)
Your Medications Aren't One-Size-Fits-All
Your genes can influence how quickly or slowly you metabolize certain medications and how you may respond to them.
Pharmacogenomic testing may provide information about:
- Medication response
- Rapid or slow drug metabolism
- Potential dosing considerations
- Increased likelihood of certain adverse effects
- Medications that may require additional monitoring
- Alternative medications that may warrant consideration
For people taking multiple medications—or those who have struggled with medication effectiveness or side effects—this information may be particularly valuable.
Prescription medications should not be changed without consulting the prescribing healthcare professional.
One Package — A Broader Look at Your Health
The OncoSure® Total Wellness Package brings together:
CANCER SCREENING What might be happening now?
GENETIC PREDISPOSITION What health risks might you have inherited?
PHARMACOGENOMICS How might your genetics affect your response to medications?
Together, these three areas can provide a more comprehensive picture of your health than any one component alone.
Important Information
The Total Wellness Package does not replace established cancer screening such as mammography, colonoscopy, cervical cancer screening, prostate evaluation, lung cancer screening when appropriate, or other recommended medical care.
The cancer screening component is a laboratory-developed test (LDT) and has not been cleared or approved by the FDA. An abnormal result is not, by itself, a cancer diagnosis and requires appropriate clinical follow-up.
A negative result cannot guarantee that cancer or another medical condition is absent. Genetic predisposition indicates risk, not certainty.
